Why Did I Do This?
I made this website as a result of making a search for God because my life turned out to be less than I had expected. I knew that I had missed something essential and critical to my life. I became a man on a quest to find out about God. I was not certain that God was the answer, but I knew that man was not. I am so glad that I was dissatisfied enough to be willing to spend the time to "check out God!"
God showed up right away! I was attending Lakewood Church, was in a prayer group, was reading books about God, was praying and reading the Bible before dawn, was listening to preachers on radio and television, and became SINCERE! To me, it seems that at the moment that I became sincere, God showed up.
Early in my life, I had convinced myself that God did not do miracles, did not overrule the laws of nature, and certainly did not communicate with people. God proved me wrong on all three points. The "Inspirational" section of this website describes discoveries about God.
God has shown me the plan for my life (to be a pastor at a certain church when I am 75 years old). God has sent me to help and encourage people in nursing homes and shelters, has asked me to learn Biblical Hebrew, has asked me to translate The Ten Commandments to mean to people today what it originally meant to people, has said to sell The Ten Commandments to support my preparation for the ministry, has said that the USA desperately needs The Ten Commandments, has sent me to a pastor to "help him and stand with him," has asked me to learn calligraphy in order to copy scripture, has helped me with my business and my debts, and other things that are described in this website.
God healed my knee when I was on crutches, healed a possibly cancerous spot on my forearm, and healed my back when my sister prayed for me.
God has given instruction about earth, first heaven, second heaven, and third heaven. Then, when I prayed for more awe, reverence, and respect for God, God gave a physics lesson about the dimensionality of space that changed forever my concept of the magnitude of God.
Suffice it to say that God has proven to me that God is always present and responds to our sincerity and faith. To the sincere and faithful, God will give a vision and the provision to see it through.
I am totally sold out for God. I am consecrated to God. I am striving to carry out God's will for my life. My life is certainly more exciting, more fulfilling, and more satisfying than anything that I ever tried before being for God.
This website is part of my response to God moving in my life.
I purposely learned to make a website so that as God moves in my life, I can frequently add to and modify the site.
Never have I been so happy for such a long time in my entire life!
I hope and pray that something you see on this site will help you with your sincerity for God and with your faithfulness to God.
Note: The Lord's Prayer was retranslated on Sunday, May 26, 2002. It was a "God thing." I hope you also enjoy it. See "A Prayer" immediately following the "Inspirational" page.
Where is God?
After more than 50 years of believing that there is a God who created us and then left us to our own devices, the idea came that maybe God, if invited into our lives, would help us as a community as well as individually.
Intellectually, the existence of God is plausible because of the tendency to disorder in nature in the absence of a controlling force. Formation of complex organisms without external intercession violates the Third Law of Thermodynamics.
The design of the components of the universe and the laws that we have thus far elucidated also speak of a "Designer."
What we have discovered about our own bodies - including the fields of molecular biology, central nervous system design, our "control" system similar to a computerized chemical plant, DNA, brain function, and a myriad of other complicated activities - leads me to the conclusion that our body can not be built up in successive levels of evolution. Creation seems to me to be the only satisfactory answer to "how we got here."
The Holy Scriptures insist that God showed up "personally", has faithful people accomplishing great things with divine help, has a plan for your life, knows more than we do about how to be satisfied and happy, longs for us to praise, worship, pray, and study "God's Word, practices firm love, wishes to instill strong moral, ethical, and caring traits of character, and, in fact, is only for our good.
The promise is that if we seek God with all of our heart, then we will "find" God. "Find" is to reach a point of communication with God. God wants us to work hard, to tend to business, to make every activity God's business, and to be righteous, just, merciful, and humble.
God has made a way for us to reach up to the divine. It requires a series of SINCERE efforts to get together with God. Only by prayer, meditation, searching , and caring can we "reach" God. No money is required, nor diploma, nor brillance of mind, nor status, nor wisdom, nor strength, nor might, nor approval by your peers.
Going with God does not guarantee long life, health, money, success, fun, ease, many children, big houses, large cars, private airplanes, or long vacations. Going with God does lead to joy, fulfillment, and satisfaction no matter the circumstances, no matter the pain, no matter the deprivation. The rain is on the just and the unjust. There is no escape from trouble on this earth. But how do you deal with it? What if you had a vision from God as to what you should do, a goal to reach, and God's promise of provision if you stick with God.
Don't be thrown off by the competing god's, by "religious businessmen" masguerading as ministers, by dishonest and/or immoral preachers, by trouble in the church, by people claiming to be religious with all of their nasty and mean ways. The trouble is that people are in charge in this dimensional space. Many of them will claim to be doing God's will. Generally, people use the name of God to cheat you. The Holy Scriptures abound with admonitions to use discernment regarding wolves in sheep's clothing. No one said that this would be easy.
You are not going to "get the answer" from another person. If you are fortunate, someone will guide you into the "way" to reach God. But, you will go it alone. You will find God by yourself. It's a very personal experience. If you find God, you will have found God because you surrendered yourself to God's will, because you committed time in prayer, because you frequently praised God, because you told God how incredible God is along with how you know that, and what you know God can do, because you asked God, like Solomon asked God, to train you to deal with people justly, and because you want to love others the way you will begin to discover that God love's you. I know this because I did it just this way. Anybody can do it. It's an offer too good to pass up; but, an offer that everyone finds easy to pass up. I am so fortunate that I was unhappy enough with my life to be willing to give up some time to try to find God.
Finding God is the single most momentous event in my entire life; I am now fired up for God and for my fellow man's welfare. God bless God!
This is our training ground for growing up spiritually!
My wish is that you may find your way to God.
Your life in all its aspects depends on your finding God.
God's Speed!
