| Let us open with a prayer. Father God, help us to overcome. You said that you would reward those that overcome. Father God, we have so many troubles, so many things in our lives to overcome. We ask that you would give us the wisdom and the strength and the power of the Holy Spirit. The perseverence to pray and talk with You. | The perseverence to establish ourselves with You. We want to do Your will. We want to be cvercomers. In Jesus name, Amen.
God has promised a lot of things to us. In Joshua 1:8 we were promised success, the ability to deal wisely, and prosperity. In Deut 28 we were promised to be |
blessed going out and blessed coming in. In the New Testament, we are promised love, joy, peace, power, and a sound mind.
In spite of the promise of these blessings, we each know good people that have prematurely died. Young men and women die in war, on our highways, at the hand of their fellow man |
