A New Version to Enhance Our Understanding of Its Meaning

Our Father in heaven,

May all of us have great reverence, awe, honor, respect, and love for You,

And may each of us become Your obedient child and faithful servant.

May Your laws be obeyed on earth,

as perfectly as they are in heaven.

Provide for us this day, as You have done daily since creating us.

Forgive us our offenses, and enable us to forgive those who offend us.

Keep us out of temptation and deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

I am committed and faithful to You - Amen.

I wish to thank those who have gone before in preserving the Holy Scriptures so that we in this time may know what God has said to man.

Today, my inspiration for this prayer came up from within upon seeing the contributions to our understanding of The Lord's Prayer by Ben Franklin, a founding father of the USA, and by Dr. Rocco A. Errico, founder and president of the Noohra Foundation.

May we always strive to put God's meaning into the words that we use.
